Lubricity
The cohesive barrier between piston and casing resists sideways forces that otherwise cause metal contact and “sticking". Tech-Oil solves sticky valve problems and saves on expensive repairs.
Stability
Tech-Oil is stable against atmospheric interference which causes "gumming." Normal valve oil leaves a dark residue on your piston caused by this interference. With Tech-Oil, your valves stay clean.
Low Water Passover Ratio
Tech-Oil repels water to keep breath moisture & contaminants out of the valve walls & bottom caps, while other oils allow water to exchange place with the oil, resulting in bad things happening to your playing and horn. Avoid this by using Tech-Oil.
Balanced Viscosity
Oils with low viscosity are pushed out of the instrument, while high viscosity oils are too thick and sluggish. Tech-Oil is a perfect balance allowing smooth and fast pistons.
Volatility
The tendency of liquids to evaporate. Many valve oils dry out fast, requiring frequent application. Tech-Oil has a low rate of evaporation and, combined with its stability, allows Tech-Oil to stay on for weeks at a time!
